Rough Effect Test

Okay, I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out. This is of course really rough. I'm using generic sound effects, a green screened backdrop, work lighting and a stand-in for the actual character. I also just tossed in some really quick and basic smoke and light streaks. The time lapse was 1 picture every 3 minutes for about 8 hours, then sped up. I think this works pretty well, so no need for further testing. It's a little out of focus, and since I need the ice and the character to both be in focus, I will need to use a larger aperture. That's an easy fix. I also didn't bother to give her any movement in this shot. In the film she will move a bit in this shot as she "defrosts"
