About

Patrick Fatica Productions

His paintings have been called, “a sublime blend of Tim Burton and Botticelli” by the Baltimore Examiner.

Patrick has been a professional artist for a decade and has shown his paintings in some of the finest galleries throughout the country. With over 100 solo and group exhibitions between 2005 and 2015, his work has become well known in the pop surreal art movement. Fatica is best known for his oil portraits of wide eyed nymph-like women. His themes often depict these creatures as fallen heroes trapped in a self inflicted isolation. Patrick had added filmmaking into the mix expanding the stories he tells with moving pictures and sound. His animated short film MONSTER is currently appearing in film festivals across the country. It recently won Best Animation at the DIY Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA. Patrick is now hard at work on his newest short film Hanna Frightful.

“Operating on the edge between street and highbrow art, Fatica’s world is dark and devoid of highbrow puffery, instead depicting a surreal, nihilistic future inspired more by David Lynch’s Eraserhead than the bright futurism explored at the 1939 World’s Fair.” - Orlando Weekly
