A Little Paint

So, I started painting the face plates and brows. I want to keep this technique simple. I may need to create another face plate down the road and I want to be able to easily match what I've already done. I used Gold Brand Acrylic Spray Paint for the main peach. It's a color called Cappucino, but it is just a very light flesh tone. I then added the pink with a Golden Brand transparent airbrush paint with a brush. I used black Gesso for the base of the hair, because I like the matte finish.

The next step will be to make the eybrows out of bendable Sculpey, and the eyelids out of Milliput. This will give me even more control over her expressions, and the lids will allow her to blink.
